Diversity

Picture
Diversity in Mock Trial is a wonderful thing. It encourages us to remember that everyone is unique and has different backgrounds. This in turn allow us to look at our case in different lights and consider all angles without bias, which is a valuable mindset to carry with you in everyday life."

- Maryellen Wooten, Sophomore

Leadership

UTMT is abundant with diverse leadership opportunities. Whether it's performing an administrative position on the organization's executive board, leading a competition team as a captain, or assuming multiple roles on a team, there are numerous ways to develop leadership skills. As these various roles differ in responsibility and substance, UTMT both challenges individual leadership potential and fosters personalized talent and aspirations."

Friendship

The friendships formed in UTMT are stronger than I’ve found in any other organization I’ve ever been a part of. Even after only one year in the program I’m already sure that I will remember these people for the rest of my life.

- Evan Mukherji, Sophomore

Challenge

Mock Trial challenges you to do your absolute best, to rise to the occasion, to think on your feet, and to be a leader. It's a lot of work, and it takes a lot of dedication, but you are always made better because of it.
